Commands
Here is a list of in-game commands you may find useful.
[help - Provides a list of some of the custom commands available.
[helpinfo - Provides an in-game menu which lists the commands and describes each one.
[accountinfo - Opens the Account Information window. Use this command to change your password.
[band - A shortcut for using bandages, rather than finding them in your backpack and double clicking them.
[bs - A shortcut for using bandages on yourself.
[bondinfo - When used on a pet that you have, displays the time remaining before it will be eligible to bond with you.
[removepets - Deletes all pets that are currently in your list of followers; useful if you've lost some tame but onbonded pets. Can only be used per hour.
[donate - Donates extra equipment that you have to the new player dungeon. Please use this while hunting and support our future players!
[jewelry - Instantly removes the jewelry you're wearing and dropping it into your backpack.
[myauction - Displays the auction menu so you can look at auctions you're holding or are bidding on. To auction a new item you still need to go to an auctioneer.
[mybonuses - Displays some of your equipment bonuses.
[mystats - Displays a window showing a variety of your stats and bonuses; the same as single-clicking yourself and selecting "Totals".
[theirstats - Displays a window showing another player's equipment bonuses. Base stats and other bonuses such as spell effects are not included.
[event - Joins an active event. Type this when you see a broadcast message that an event has been created.
[pvpevent - Joins an active PVP event. Type this when you see the associated broadcast message.
[leavequeue - Removes you from a team event queue.
[roll - If you are in a party, rolls a random number for you. Useful for dividing loot among friends.
[runebookstyle - Toggle between traditional and updated runebook layouts.
[sstat - Displays shard status information, including a list of online players.
[showreagents - Displays a count of all reagents you are carrying.
[sortregs - Moves all reagents from your backpack into your designated container.
[npcguild - Displays which NPC guild you are in.
[insurance - Opens the item insurance menu, and displays a count of worn items that are not insured or blessed.
[ping - Displays a player's ping.
[pingnetwork - Displays a player's ping directly over the network, not through the UO client.
[lastspell - Invokes the last spell you casted. Similar to the built in UO macro, but also catches spells cast by razor and the spell hotbar.
[lastitem - Invokes the last item you used. Similar to the built in UO macro, but also catches items activated by razor and the item toolbar.
[language - Toggles display of your language in the [sstat shard status window.
[reportdeaths - Toggles reporting of deaths and kills through guild chat.
[reportlogin - Toggles reporting of logins to friends and guildmates.
[pricecheck - Opens a browser window showing an auction search of the search terms specified.
Communication Commands
[ac or | - Alliance chat, usable only if you are in a guild alliance.
[ch or , - Regional chat. Type [ch to see the chat menu, or ", {message}" "[ch {message}" to broadcast a regional message.
[fc - Faction chat, usable only if you are in a faction.
[gc or \ - Guild chat, usable only if you are in a guild.
[irc - IRC chat. This channel broadcasts globally across the shard, and also on our IRC channel. Do not spam this channel, or use it for buy/sell/trade activity.
[tc - Team chat. For use when you're playing in a team event such as capture the flag or double domination.
[e - Performs one of a list of emotes. Example: [e cough
[emenu - Displays the list of all available emotes.
[friends - Displays your list of friends in the chat system.
[ignore - Adds a targeted player to your ignore list.
[unignore - Removes a targeted player from your ignore list.
[mail - Opens your personal message mailbox.
[pm - Sends a personal message to another player.
[tell or [t - Sends a quick text message to another player. Use underscores if the player you want to message has spaces in their name. Example: [tell bob_hope hi there!
/ - Party chat.
: (followed by space)- Emote; like normal speech but surrounded by asterisks and in a different hue if you have it configured that way.
; (followed by space)- Whisper; like normal speech but with very short range.
! (followed by space) - Yell; like normal speech but with longer range.
Key Phrases
Saying these words activate specific effects:
I renounce my young player status - Removes your (young) status.
I resign from my guild - Removes you from your current guild.
By gods and men I am judged - Displays your karma and fame status.
I must consider my sins - Displays your murder status.
I challenge thee - Challenges another player to a friendly duel. No items are lost.
What time is it - Displays the current server time.
Accept - Accepts another player's duel challenge.
Bank - Opens your bank box when you're near a banker.
Balance - Asks a banker what your bank balance is.
Withdraw (amount) - Withdraws gold from your bank box when you're near a banker.
Auction - Opens the auction window when you're near an auctioneer.
Destination - Asks an escortable NPC where they would like to go.
I will take thee - Accepts an escortable NPC's request to take them to their desired destination.
Motd - Displays the message of the day.
News - Asks a town crier for the current news.
Guards - If you're in town and under attack, this will call for guards.
Stable - Stables a pet when you're near an animal trainer NPC.
Claim list - Displays a window listing your stabled pets when you're near an animal trainer.
Claim (name) - Claims a stabled pet (or pets) by name when you're near an animal trainer.
Vendor buy or {name} buy - Attempts to purchase from a vendor.
Vendor sell or {name} sell - Attempts to sell to a vendor.
{name} train {skill} - Asks an NPC to train you.
{name} join - When at an NPC guildmaster (such as a thief guildmaster), saying their name followed by the word "join" tells them that you wish to join their guild.
{name} resign - When at your NPC guildmaster, leaves their guild.
{name} time - Asks a town NPC the current in-game time.
{name} move - Asks a town NPC to move.
House Commands
Use these key phrases when you're in a house:
Remove thyself - Kicks a player out of your house.
I ban thee - Bans a player from your house.
I wish to lock this down - Locks an item down in your house.
I wish to secure this - Secures an item (usually a container) in your house.
I wish to release this - Unlocks an item from your house.
I wish to unsecure this - Un-secures an item from your house.
I wish to place a trash barrel - Creates a trash barrel.
Pet Commands
The most common way to command pets is to use verbal commands. Precede the command with either the pet's name, or the word "all" to command all of your pets at once. Example: all kill
kill - attack something
attack - identical to kill
follow - follow a designated target, or yourself
come - walk to the spot you're currently at (but not follow you)
stop - halt all activity and wander around
stay - stop moving and remain in place
drop - drop items in the pet's pack. This is for dropping loot items, not items from a pack animal.
guard - stand guard, and attack whatever is attacking you
release - release the pet from your control
transfer - transfer control of the pet to another player
friend - add another player as a friend, giving them limited control of the pet
unfriend - remove a friend from the list of players it will listen to
Ship Commands
Speak a verbal command to direct your ship's tillerman. The tillerman will listen to anyone on the ship, not just the ship owner.
Movement commands: forward, back/backward, left, right
Movement commands can be modified as follows: slow {direction}, {direction} one
Orientation commands: turn right, turn left, come about/turn around
Note that you can also pilot a ship with your mouse by double-clicking the tillerman, or ship pilot or wheel of a galleon. Then move the mouse with the right mouse button as if running. Double-click the tillerman again to return to normal movement. This is the only way to control a rowboat.

These commands are only useful if you are in factions.
Showscore - Displays your faction kill score.
I honor your leadership - Transfers kill points to another player.
What is my faction term status - Displays how much longer you are in your faction.
I wish to access the city treasury - Opens the town finance minister's control window.
You are fired - Dismisses a faction vendor.
I am sheriff - Opens the town sheriff's control window.
Orders attack {faction name} - Commands faction guards.
Orders ignore {faction name} - Commands faction guards.
Orders follow - Commands faction guards.
Orders patrol - Commands faction guards.
Orders warn {faction name}- Commands faction guards.
